Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been quite busy with work (yay! I heart freelancing), but as a result I have not spent as much time blogging about tea as I would have liked to. I’ve promised myself this won’t happen again. Although while I was crazy with work I satisfied my need to share tea expediences via twitter.com (if you’re on twitter then follow me @myteacups). If you have been following my tea tweets, then you’ll know that I’ve been enjoying several iced tea blends and soaking up the cool refreshment during the hot days of summer.
I have been experimenting iced tea blends ever since the arrival of my fabulous Bodum Iced Tea Pitcher! I purchased the Bodum Iced Tea Set from Mighty Leaf, which came with pitcher and choice of tea. I had trouble picking a tea from the selection, but eventually settled on Green Tea Tropical, which turned out to be a fabulous choice for my summer self longing to be on a beach. Green Tea Tropical “boasts smooth green tea leaves that harmoniously blend with sweet tropical fruits to create a sensation as uplifting as a breeze of the isle of Papenoo. A healthy and refreshing blend rich in antioxidants, Green Tea Tropical makes an ideal introduction to green tea.” I highly recommend purchasing the iced tea set from mighty leaf!
What are your favorite iced teas to drink during the hot summer days?

Hey there - I love this iced tea pitcher too. I’ve made flavoured iced black teas in it - Vanilla Dreams and Strawberry Shortcake, lots of herbals, and some rooibos and green teas too - I’ve added a spoon each of Mango Green and Peachy Rooibos for a yummy combination. I am in Ontario, Canada and I don’t think we have Mighty Leaf here. I am a rep with Steeped Tea (home party plan for loose teas) and and it’s through our company that I got my pitcher. Love it!
Just found your blog today - love your photography and your content is interesting, too!
Ann,
Glad to hear we share the bodum tea pitcher love! Your iced tea combinations sound fabulous. I’ll have to try some blending. Thanks for the compliments!
I am looking for an iced tea pitcher in which I can pour boiling water and it will not break. Does the Bodum fit that requirement? Thanks.
