Join me for a series of Pop-Up Tea events in Philadelphia and New York from August 14th through August 19th to celebrate the launch of my premiere summer issue of with tea, a quarterly journey on cooking with tea. The summer issue of the quarterly journal, with tea, features 11 of my original tea-infused seasonal recipes, photos and stories. The 48-page journal is the size of a tea saucer and printed on recycled paper in the USA. Each journal comes lovingly wrapped in a vintage handkerchief and will be available for sale at the Pop-Up events for $24 (cash only, please). Note that this is a small batch, limited edition run of only 100 journals to launch the new series. Journals will be available for sale online starting on the evening of August 19th. Join me for an Iced Tea Pop-Up at COOK. I will share free sips of freshly brewed iced tea along with tips and techniques on cooking with tea. During the Pop-Up Cook will be offering 20% off all cookbooks and pantry items.
August 18th 12-5pm
Join me for a Pop-Up Tea event at Tea Drunk in the East Village. Tea Drunk’s tea specialists will prepare hot tea via the traditional gong fu steeping style, and share free samples of their teas that are sourced from the historically famous tea mountains in the backcountry of China.
August 19th 8am-4pm
Join me for a Pop-Up Tea event at Chalait in the West Village. Enjoy samples of iced matcha from Chalait’s tea specialists while I shares tips and techniques for cooking with tea, and try Chalait’s tea-infused tartine—a one-day only menu special in honor of tea.
