As the crisp winter
air eases into spring warm’s breezes, I can’t help but want to escape into the
sun. Although I often find that long walks leave me with separation anxiety
from a steeped cup that even early blossoms can’t calm.
Luckily, the lovely
folks over at Libre shipped me a complimentary glass ‘n poly
to-go tea glass that has granted me the freedom to wander out of my kitchen and into the open air.
A few *warm* nights
ago I experienced the first taste of libre freedom, as I gently placed a
jasmine green blossoming tea bud in my libre tea glass after removing the stainless steel
filter. I filled the glass with warm water and was out the door before the
spring tea treat began to bloom. I soaked in the early evening sunset and
watched the pink flower show its true colors (shown above).
The next night, a
friend invited me over to enjoy the warm air and gorgeous views from her
apartment. At this very moment I was craving a cup of oolong, but thought it
would taste better if shared with a friend. So, I twisted the stainless steel
filter onto the glass, added the two teaspoons of oolong leaves, twisted the cover over the dry leaves and strolled
down the block. I popped inside and had her warm a cup of water to add to my
libre glass and voila, tea for two. Hoorah!
So as I greet spring air with a blossoming bud in my libre glass, I find myself daydreaming of tea party picnics under the summer sun. Just be sure to BYOWW (bring your own warm water). What, too much? Well, I'll bring the tea. Thanks Libre!
