Join me for an Afternoon Tea Pop-Up at Washington Square Park in Philadelphia on Thursday, October 8th from 11:30 to 1:30pm to benefit FEED SUPPER. In exchange for your $10+per person donation (made via this page), you will be served two teas (one hot oolong tea from Tea Ave and one cold matcha tea from Panatea) and will also receive a steeped parting gift. The first twenty people to arrive will receive a set of handmade gourmet Japanese sugars from Chambre De Sucre. RSVP by making a donation & noting how many people will be attending. NOTE - since this is a pop-up tea in the park, you will need to bring the following items in order to participate: blanket to sit on, a favorite cup/mug to drink your tea, one bottle cold water for tea, one small thermos with hot water for tea (close to boiling). I will be providing all of the tea and steeping each for you. I will also be leading a guided tea tasting (tea 101, proper steeping technique, pairing advice, etc).
